I dropped them from our group, and they crazy

DEAR MISS MANNERS: Last year, I planned a dinner party with seven friends from middle school and high school (we are all in our 50s now).

At dinner, we decided to make it a monthly appointment, with me in charge of planning everything.

Most group members attended at least three of the seven meetings; however, there are two that only came to the first one. Last month at dinner we decided to stop inviting these two, so I removed them from our social media group.

Well, needless to say, they’re not happy. I know I probably should have let them know they were deleted before I did, but it’s too late for that now. Our first dinner without these two is coming up soon, and I know I’ll be heartbroken once they see the photos online.
