NYRA plans breakfast and ranch tour in Saratoga

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced plans for the first-ever Breakfast and Breeding Farm sightseeing package at Saratoga Racetrack. The Saratoga Cattle Farm and Breakfast Tour, presented by the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA), will be offered every Friday starting July 15 and will accommodate up to 40 people.

The All-Inclusive Fan Experience Package includes:

* Buffet breakfast at Saratoga Racetrack
* Opportunity to watch world-class Thoroughbreds during morning training
* Round-trip outdoor trolley ride from Saratoga Racetrack to Old Tavern Farm
* 90-minute guided walking tour of an active thoroughbred breeding farm
* Admission to Saratoga Racetrack

The Saratoga Breakfast and Breeding Farm package is available for $55 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for each weekly Friday tour, starting July 15. Tickets can be purchased at NYRA.com.

The package begins with Breakfast in Saratoga, with a breakfast buffet at the Saratoga Racetrack between 7:00 and 9:30 a.m. with the backdrop of world-class Thoroughbreds participating in morning training. You can arrive anytime for breakfast during these times.

After breakfast ends at 9:30 a.m., fans will board an open-air wagon, courtesy of CDTA, at the clubhouse entrance and embark on a 15-minute ride along scenic Saratoga Lake to Old Tavern Farm for a 90 minute experience. and an educational walking tour of one of the region’s main cattle farms. Fans will return to the Saratoga Racetrack around 11:45 a.m., well before the tee time for the race to begin around 1 p.m.
