Leading mobility company Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially launched the 2022 update to its well-known and beloved family vehicle, the Toyota Avanza.
The all-new Avanza is positioned by TMP as the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) “suitable for the family, guaranteeing driving pleasure and more happiness on the road”.
First introduced in the Philippines in 2006, the Avanza has become an image of versatility and reliability perfectly suited to the mobility needs of Filipinos. Developed as a spacious 7-person vehicle with room for items and luggage, this minivan was chosen by many for its ability as a reliable travel companion.
Now in its third generation, the all-new Avanza boasts even better value and striking design upgrades for its 2022 reimagining.

The all-new Avanza comes in four variants, with each variant developed to meet specific needs. Truly committed to being an affordable and practical vehicle of choice, the suggested retail price for the 2022 Avanza starts at Php 813,000.
The all-new Avanza gets an updated exterior with a “sleek and active” design, split-type LED headlights and for the G variant, 16″ alloy wheels. It also comes with a convenience extra as it now features the push-to-start system and a 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display for the G variant, and auto-folding exterior mirrors for the G and E variants. Improved handling is guaranteed on every journey thanks to the new front-wheel drive and CVT transmission.
The interior also gets a new feel with the new two-tone seat material. The all-new Avanza can meet all travel needs with its flexible 7-seater settings with Long Sofa Mode feature and ample luggage space. Controls are at your fingertips and entertainment is guaranteed for the trip with the 8-inch audio display featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity available for G and E variants, and available USB ports for recharging the technology of each member of the family.
Safety is always the top priority, especially for a family mover like the All-New Avanza. The G and E variants come with a rear camera and rear sensor, while the G variant comes with blind spot monitoring and rear camera traffic alert to aid parking and maneuvering . It also includes vehicle stability control and 6 SRS airbags (variant G).
